Michelle graduated as a Physiotherapist in 2011 and later completed a Master’s degree specialising within the musculoskeletal domain.

She has a passion for helping people get back to what they love and advocates movement and exercise as a cornerstone to well-being. You can expect a thorough and pragmatic assessment linking to a tailored treatment plan ensuring you get back on track, fast.

Following 4 enriching years in the NHS, Michelle chased the sunshine all the way to Australia where she would enter private practice and enjoy extensive post graduate training in the treatment of headaches, jaw & neck, rib and back pain, pelvic girdle and hip pain as well as clinical Pilates and musculoskeletal dry needling.

After 7 years living ‘down under’, she returns to bonnie Scotland and is excited to be part of the WEP team. Having worked in the Glasgow women's health service earlier in her career, Michelle continued to work closely with the pregnant population in Sydney in both the ante and post-natal period. In addition she worked with athletes at both club and elite level in waterpolo, boxing, endurance running and rugby as well as weekend warriors and everything in between. Michelle loves to work in a holistic fashion with a deep appreciation of the interplay and interdependence of body and mind.

Building resilience is key to a happy body and Michelle’s clients can expect to be discharged stronger and more robust to prohibit reoccurrence. Your physio journey will progress from the treatment room to the studio/gym with your goals at the heart of everything.

In another decade Michelle represented Scotland at alpine ski racing and so loves the winter season helping everyone get ready for the snow. In her own time she enjoys practicing vinyasa yoga, running and getting out in the great outdoors, wild swimming, hiking and camping.
