Lauren graduated top in her year with a BSc (Hons) in Physiology and Sports Science from the University of Glasgow in 2021, before going on to complete her MSc in Physiotherapy at Glasgow Caledonian University.

Since qualifying, she has worked in the NHS as a community physiotherapist, where she gained broad experience diagnosing and managing a wide variety of complex conditions. Her community experience has helped her develop a compassionate, person-centred approach, with a strong emphasis on helping people regain independence and confidence in their daily lives. Alongside her NHS work, she has experience in private clinics and sports settings, treating recreational and competitive athletes.

As a competitive CrossFit athlete herself, she has a particular interest in the rehabilitation of sports and activity-related injuries. She understands first-hand the frustration that injury can bring, and is passionate about helping you not only recover, but return to the activities you love - whether that’s performance-based training or simply moving day to day without pain!

Her dual background in both physiology and physiotherapy allows her to apply a detailed understanding of the body’s systems to her clinical reasoning and treatment. She combines evidence-based practice with practical experience to help you set meaningful goals and achieve lasting results! She is passionate about helping you feel empowered, informed, and supported throughout your recovery journey.

Outwith work and training, Lauren has a beautiful golden retriever named Sandy that steals all her attention! Her favourite activity is a coffee and dog walk with friends.
