Whether you have a new injury, sports related pain, or an old chronic pain that you'd given up on, we can help.  We have a variety of options.

Clinic Director - Persistent or Chronic Pain Session £120 1 Hour

Are you at your wits end? Have you been round the houses with your pain or injury and getting nowhere?  There is new hope.

Claire and Shona are experts in a new evidence-based, person-centred approach to chronic pain, including any part of your body or fibromyalgia,  which recognises a complex range of interacting factors that may be influencing your pain. This approach is showing fantastic and long-lasting results, and there are very few physio practices in the west of Scotland offering this at the moment.  This is backed up by 45+ years of experience between them in helping people to recover from persistent and chronic pain.

Evidence shows that taking time at the start of your journey to unpick your pain problem with a highly experienced expert, can change your pain and help you to trust your body again. Clients tell us they leave feeling more optimistic about the future and their recovery.

Clinic Director / Spinal   £120 1 Hour  

Our Clinic Directors, Shona and Claire, have quite literally got your back!  They are neck and back pain experts and are up-to-date with the latest spinal treatment and research (* see out story page for more info on research).  They will take the time needed for a deep dive to understand your pain and will help you to change your relationship with your spine from fear to safety or from limbo to having clarity. They will also get you back to your life with an understanding of what caused your pain in the first place.

Shona and Claire have worked with surgeons and scan results for 20+ years within the NHS back pain service and are expertly placed to help demystify X-Ray or MRI scans - and also point out what is good on your scan!

Clinic Director Review Session  - £65  30 mins

If you have already been assessed by Shona and Claire , and you wish a follow up for the same problem.

Shoulder Specialist Physio - £95 1 Hour

Meet Gill Watt who is a highly expert shoulder physio and researcher, as well as educator in complex shoulder problems. We invited Gill to consult in the clinic due to her extensive knowledge base, and calm and logical evidence-based approach.  She can make sense of the trickiest shoulder pains and is very much involved with cutting edge international research into shoulders. Gill really is Glasgow's expert.  Go nowhere else for shoulder issues.

Knee / Hip Specialist Physio - £95 1 Hour

Meet Andrew McLafferty who is an expert diagnostician with hips and knees and has lectured to GP's and other health care professionals on up-to-date evidence on knee pain.  He is methodical, rigorous and an excellent communicator as well as having the expertise to ascertain if further investigation, scan, or Orthopaedic opinion is required.  He will get you back to whatever sport or movement you might be struggling with and give you real insight into what is going on.

Physio Initial Appointment - £75 1 Hour   

A very thorough assessment of your injury or problem with one of our accomplished physiotherapists. We hand-pick bright minded physios carefully here at west End Physio and all our physios follow a similar ethos to the Clinic Directors.  They will help you understand your issues and give you a clear plan and solutions to get you back on track. Our physio specialists are all experts in assessing any body part.

Short Specialist Physio appointment (less complex needs) -  £60  30 mins

If you think you have something quite simple, such as tennis elbow or a recent sprain or strain, recovering from fracture or a rehab session following joint replacement surgery, then perhaps you only need a shorter session with one of our physios who are all highly trained to get you back to what you want to do. If your physio feels your condition needs more time to assess, they may advise another session quite quickly. We do not recommend this appointment type if you have chronic complex issues or back or neck pain.

Women's Health /Pelvic Health - £65 30 mins

Specialist Massage Therapist  £70 1 Hour

Lesley and Roberta are our specialised massage therapists. They are highly experienced and have a deep understanding and knowledge of pain and chronic pain. They work with us, as a team, to support you back to feeling your best version of yourself again.  They also mentor our junior massage therapist.

Pre and Post Natal Specialist Massage - £100 90 Mins

Book in for an extra long specialist massage with Roberta or Lesley. 90 minutes can really help you to unwind session to have therapeutic touch when you are pregnant or recovering from childbirth is important to your nervous system than a shorter massage.

Junior Massage Therapist  - £60 1 Hour

Meet Danna our junior massage therapist. She has fantastic massage skills, communication skills and is also a qualified sports therapist, which is why we chose her. You will be in great hands and she is being mentored by our specialist massage therapists who are impressed with her so far.

Home Visit Physiotherapy  - £90 1 Hour  £70 review
